Homecoming

Synopsis:

David, a Korean-American adoptee, flies all the way to Korea after finding out he was adopted in search of his biological mother. He learns his mother works at a cafe and he visits it day after day trying to gain the courage to be able to talk to her.

Film Introduction:

Homecoming is a short journey of a kid trying to gain courage to talk to his biological mother in hopes that it will fill in a hole in his life, after learning he has been adopted. David feels a sense of emptiness and betrayal after learning his parents, aren't really his real parents and believes things will somehow fall into place if he meets his biological mom. After meeting his biological mom, he learns that nothing will really change and that the love and support he had from his adopted parents are just as real as if they were his biological ones.
